We are persuaded that a web presentation shall provide wide range of services based on the latest technologies, such as AJAX, or Flash or SilverLight, when even the correct extent and suitability of utilisation of such technologies is of the same importance. Web presentations created by us are based on so called W-CMS - Web Content Management System (or publishing system), in other words an application that facilitates to arbitrarily change, add or delete all information of displayed presentation structures. These modifications may be carried out even by users that are not familiar with web technologies, programming, or databases at all.

The Web Content Management System may be applied everywhere where it is necessary to more or less often update some part of the presentation (e. g. products of an e-shop, novelties, actions etc.), to centrally administer several presentations by one application, or to conveniently control a multi-language web presentation. Other properties of the Web Content Management System also include the possibility of preserving the older versions of contents (so called versioning), or the diversification of administrators (both according to the levels/roles of administrators, and parts of the presentation that is a particular administrator able to administer).

RS::CMS Web Content Management System developed by us is delivered with a user friendly administration application that facilitates to modify a web presentation content in a really comfort method - through WYSIWYG editor with an interface similar to the well known MS-WORD text editor. The administration application is a web application as well; it means that it is available and controllable from wherever where a connection to the Internet is available. At present RS::CMS administration application is available in nine language versions. The basic RS::CMS modules are completed with subsidiary modules for each presentation and often even modified to provide the best comfort of the presentation administration, in this way it is secured that each presentation (and together with it each Web Content Management System implementation) is the unique solution tailored according to requirements of its users.

The web presentation structure utilising the Content Management System is similar to a “tree” on whose "branches" individual articles are hung up. Here our Content Management System differs from many others – an article may represent any construction, it may be for example an editable block (such type of an article is available in most other Content Management Systems), or for example the element of a tag gallery, an item of an e-shop, or any feedback form (different types of surveys, discussions, ..), there are lots of possibilities. Historic reasons for the above mentioned was firstly the effort to preserve the consistence of the newly added content of the web presentation with the existing content, or uniformity of formatting; secondly the possibility of guiding a user to carry out correct additions to the content, the possibility to say him/her (in a simplified manner): „Here you should enter the title of an article, here the perex of an article, here the main body, here the main illustration“. The system will take care of correct formatting of all elements of the article and their correct representation. However, the user has still possibility to proceed in the same way as in the case of other web content management systems and use the article type containing the only formatted text block.

RS::CMS Web Content Management System is built on our former MVC framework, which has proved to be an outstanding cornerstone for many applications (at present the applications of a community server, e-shop, booking systems, blogging engine, intranet applications or content management system are based on it).
